Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all. Around the world there are people who celebrate Christmas; with many different traditions. The Christmas tree is a common tradition for most people, even though every tree is a little different and unique to each and every family. This is my Christmas tree; it’s a live tree decorated with ornaments collected over the years. May the holiday season fill your home with joy, your heart with love and your life with laughter. 

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is here, again, and that means it’s time to leave cookies out for Santa Claus! This year has flown by and it’s hard to believe Christmas is tomorrow. The smell of Christmas has been in the air for quite some time with the smell of the fresh cut tree all decorated for the holidays and the smell of homemade cookies baking in the oven. There are three kinds of cookies my mom makes every Christmas - crescent cookies, little chocolate chip cup cakes, and walnut delights -all of which disappear very quickly  in my house. These are all recipes passed down from my great grandmother and made only during the Christmas season. What are some of your favorite homemade cookies your family makes during the holiday season?
