Carpinteria Coastline

To the attentive eye, each moment of the year has its own beauty . . . it beholds every hour, a picture which was never seen before, and which shall never be seen again.

Seal Sanctuary

At the Carpinteria Seal Sanctuary you can find a community of harbor seals; playing in the water and sunbathing along the shoreline. You can view these creatures from several different look out points along the rocky cliff.  This protected habitat is a place where the seals give birth to their cubs.

Reflections

Reflections in photography can lead to some amazing effects and extraordinary images that pop off the screen. The use of water, windows, mirrors or any kind of reflective surface can change the feel of the whole image. The thing about using reflections is that you never know how exactly it will change an ordinary image into something richer and more artistic. These reflections I have photographed where all taken on Cape Cod amongst different harbors.
